Protecting Yourself from Fraud
To safeguard yourself from potential fraudulent activities on your services, it is imperative to follow these guidelines:
- Use Strong Passwords: Employ robust and unique passwords for your accounts.
- Secure Your Passwords: Do not store passwords in plain text within computer files or written on physical paper.
- Avoid Emailing or Storing Credentials: Refrain from emailing or saving login credentials in your email accounts.
- Utilize 2 Factor Authentication: Wherever possible, enable two-factor authentication for an added layer of security.
- Request Destination Blocking: If you do not intend to make international calls, consider requesting the blocking of international destinations.
- Regular Password Updates: Periodically update your passwords, aiming to change them at least once every quarter.
